Black Hole Comm priority order

There is no right or wrong answer here as the answer is going to depend on your current gear/spec, but I'd like some community input on what your priority order is/will be for spending your Black Hole comms.

Please list your AC and reasoning. You can use torhead url's to link to items.
Campaign Relic of Boundless Ages

I cant use links since im at work and Torhead is blocked for me but..

So far i have the following Black Hole/Campaign items:

The Campaign Shield/Absorb on use Relic - These come from Daily Coms, and nothing else to spend Daily Coms on. These are Campaign level and BIS, no excuses not to get them. I use the Shield/Absorb Relic atm as a smaller CD to help smooth out rough dmg patches, leaving my larger CDs for burst or "Oh Shit moments".
The Campaign Absorb Proc Relic - Same as above.

Campaign War Leaders Implants x2 - I was using the Rakata Implants (Def/Acc), so the large gain in Shield/Absorb was welcome, both together gave me a gain of about 4% Shield and 5% Absorb bringing me to 45% Shield and 51% Absorb.

Also from what i can see loot wise in EC HM, there are no Campaign level Implants yet, and the only Black Hole ones dropping were the actual piece versions (Non-token drops) and i didnt want to rely on chance to see War Leader versions. also, from what ive seen, most of the bosses drop token for all other slots so i can pick and choose a little more there.

Campaign Ear Piece - Same reasoning as Implants.


My next piece will most likely be a Shield/Def piece as im still trying to get my Shield % to 50% (just under atm) and working on bringing my overall Def up since my Absorb % is over 50% now to help even out my stats.

As you said. Everything depends on your current gear. I'm playing a Sentinel and since I didn't have the Rakata implants/ear & proc relic earlier the choice was easier for me.

Relics:
Campaign relic of the kinetic tempest - I bought this one however before I read something about the armor reduction buffs not stacking any longer (Can anyone confirm this?). If only one debuff is possible this one would be inferior to the one which deals internal dmg. If you can keep more than 2 armor debuffs on the boss this one should be the best option.

Implants

Black Hole Pummeler's MK-1 Device
The one above suited me best, but the following would be a good pick too:
Black Hole Foestopper's MK-1 Device

Those item's are what I have atm. The next one I'll buy will probably be one of the following.

Black Hole Foestopper's MK-1 Boots
Black Hole Foestopper's MK-1 Gloves
Black Hole Foestopper's MK-1 Leggins

The head and chest have too much endurance for my taste. The only reason I'd pick them would be if I'd need the mods/enhancement from it.

For that matter. Where's our off-hand? I've been checking the republic and the imperial vendors and I haven't been able to find the Black Hole Foestopper's MK-1 Offhand Saber. Did they remove it or am I only blind? In that case. Are Sentinels/Marauders the only class who can't buy a Black Hole offhand from commendations?

I'm pretty simplistic about gear. I cycled through and picked the largest gap in +betterer and went with it. Ended up being the head at first. Next will probably be implants.

For offhands, only focuses/generators/shields are available with black hole comms. Offhand saber, pistol, shotgun, and vibroknife can only be obtained through the campaign token (drops on second boss).

Pretty much anything that has mods worthy of being ripped to replace columi level surge ones.

Implants/Earpiece > Boots/Legs till fully slotted > Other stuff.

They didn't include the OH as black hole because currently you can rip out offhand hilts and put them in the mainhand. This obviously makes offhands for dual-wield users a much bigger upgrade than it is for non-dual-wielders.

is it just me or does anyone else think the gearing and stat spreads along the BH gear is kinda weak compared to Rakata? I know its more shield/absorb, but where are the hps?

The sentinal BH boots have like 40 more endurance vs the BH war leader version, wtf?

I know hp is not everything, but thats a pretty big swing. and it seems everytime I upgrade to a BH piece, my hp goes down or only up by like 4-7 endurance.

I cant help but think they goofed up the stat spreads on the BH/Camp gear like they did with Rakata.

I'd say that you should not look on the BH items as straight upgrades. Look upon them as a source for mods/enhancements/armoring. Most of the items have one or two good parts, while the other may be quite crappy. Find the items which mods/enhancements/armoring would give you the largest upgrade. Pull them out and replace what needs to be replaced in the rest of your gear.
