4/19 Patch nots: Is there any reason to spec Arsenal now?

According to the Devs HSM is "working as intended." Supposedly before the nerf there was a mysterious unkown force buffing it...yeah that sounds shady to me too. Basically they nerfed TM and then ninja nerfed HSM. And they are not going to change that.

You guys need to stop arguing about Merc raid dps. We are just fine in that category. In fact, I'd say the top raid dps positions are fairly equal between Arsenl Merc/Marauders/and Sorc who do 1300-1500 dps in a good burn situation.

That's not the problem. They problem is the neutering of our burst dps which hurts the spec very badly in PVP. It also makes the class a lot less fun to play. HSM is supposed to be our big bursty finishing ability. When I see it hit for 1700 (which happens quite often) a part of me dies inside. I'd take another 5% hit to Tracer if they put HSM back the way it was. Burst dps is really the only thing we have to offer.
