A thing on cure;
It now costs 8 heat, specced or not. It also heals if you spec into it. Doesnt look like you've changed it under 1.c.i Healing abilities or 1.d Resources(heat/ammo). |

Comments: This nifty ability is very nice and should be used on cooldown 1.Supercharged Gas|Supercharge Cell – You want to maximize the use of this ability during healing intensive phases. Use this when you're expecting a lot of damage and certainly don't use it on cooldown. Seems like something went wrong there. |

i've mainly been rolling arsenal dps spec on my merc, but with the ease of respeccing i've thought about experimenting with bodyguard.
are the 2 and 4 piece combat medics set bonuses generally considered to be worth having to maintain two sets of gear? assume the actual stats on the gear are irrelivent (ie could be adjusted via other slots) |

I'm also a DPS merc who has some interest in putting together a second set for heals now that I'm approaching Arsenal BiS. I know for Arsenal it's well defined that the BiS is somewhere around 235 Crit rating, 285 Surge rating. Not sure what a healing spec should aim for, but I'm guessing you'd be looking for Agile Mod 26 (+41 power) wherever possible, and using a mix of power/surge and crit/surge enhancements. Does anyone have a build they could post for a potential BiS or BiS-starting-point? I'd think there'd be a point at which you're forced so far into surge DR territory that you'd have to take some alacrity.

Almost same as DPS Arsenal BIS but then Remove Accuracy and replace with Alacrity.

Is there any characters built at askmrrobot with BiS Bodyguard with BH/Campaign mods?
I have found this build with Rakata mods. Will it be correct to assume that replacing .. 25 mods with .. 26 ones will suffice? |

Altho it provides better output than surge or crit, its also not very good for heat management. Power and surge are generally percieved as the best enhancements for bodyguards. Although i wondered if Keegan planned on updating his guide to take into account black hole/campaign gear as he was very thorough with his previous guides. |

I am attempting to min-max a mercenary healer. This is what I am aiming for.
I do have a few questions. Firstly, should I ditch the matrix relic for another war hero for extra +healing (and reduction in crit %)? Secondly, is it worth changing the only insight enhancement (crit %) to agile one? To sum up - is my crit % not too low? Should I am for 35% fully buffed or unbuffed? Any other tips? thanks |

Current gear w/ skill non stim
I was lazy so i just itemized the blkhole stuff; I am wearing a 4 set of rakata for the bonus. I went for heavy crit, 40%; 399 surge and rest is pow. Id like to see the difference between the two builds, so i will post my parses from TorParse later on tonight. Off the top of my head the highest i've crit for is 6992 w/o adrenal and 7600 w/ adrenal I wonder if i came down in crit and up in power if those numbers would be higher? |
