The past four to five pages on this thread has all the reasoning why Resurgence and Innervate are our most efficient single target heals. I even have my MOX screenshot a few pages back. In regards to "argue" and "argument", I'm really not about to do that sort of thing on an online forum. However, you may click the following link Page 4 of this fantastic thread if you haven't read the entire thread, and want to know why I said what I said. It should start about half way down the page, and the dialogue continues for a few pages. Does that help? |

RE: Sorcerer / Sage Healing Compendium (Updated for 1.2!)
Here's some other "Reasons"
These are my current numbers. Got them from the game just now. I'm not full Rakata yet, but every item is Columi or Rakata. Ability - Heal Value (Force Cost) Dark Infusion - 3229 (51) Dark Infusion Crit - 5589 (51) (Resurgence heal value added with the second heal) Resurgence + Dark Infusion - 4919 (62) Resurgence + Dark Infusion Max Crit - 8514 (62) Resurgence + Innervate - 5250 (65) Resurgence + Innervate Max Crit - 9087 (65) Resurgence + Dark Infusion is between 4919 - 8514, and costs 62 Force with Force Bending. Resurgence + Innervate is between 5250 - 9087, and costs 65 Force with Force Bending. Revivication accounts for a majority of our over heals because once it's casted, it will continue to "heal" operation members within it's boundaries even if they are at full health. So assuming 2 people out of 6 have 10k health, and you drop Revivication on them. It will heal those two people, but will over heal the other 4 players. It was the same in WoW with Prayer of Healing, Healing Stream Totem, or any HoT. That doesn't mean it should not be used, and it actually should be used whenever it's effects are desired which is most of the time. |

RE: Sorcerer / Sage Healing Compendium (Updated for 1.2!)
Does anyone else notice the buff bar not showing innervate consuming force bending? I noticed this for the first time in 1.2 the other night; innervate wouldn't remove the buff from my bar, but casting a dark infusion afterward would remove it as normal.
I didn't do enough testing to figure out whether it was actually affecting the cost of infusion or if it's just a display bug; gonna test it out tonight if I get the time. |

I actually have noticed that too, so it's not just you. I too have not really looked into seeing if it affects both spells, neither, or just one though, but the buff definitely stays on your bar after innervate. It would definitely be worth looking into more (I'd check it out now but I'm currently in dps spec and don't want to re-spec back and forth just to test it but next time I'm healing ill give it a more thorough look if no one else beats me to it)

Casting Innervate/Healing Trance on yourself seems to remove the buff as per normal. |

It does seem like the buff persists, though. Dark infusion takes me to 92% force unmodified; casting one with the used force bending up (i.e. resurgence, innervate, consumption back to 100%, dark infusion) takes me down to 94%. |

Quote:Can someone plz explain me why do we have 3% accuracy on Penetrating Darkness ?? We suspect that the choice to eliminate Accuracy as a stat for Force and Tech classes was made late in the development game, when they didn't have time to decide on, test, and implement a different skill in its place. Then again, that 3% does completely negate all 3 known sources of Force Resist (Operative's Scouting, Assassin's Premonitions, and Powertech tanking PvE 4-set bonus, all of which are 2%), so maybe it's being left in intentionally. Even Angels must kill from time to time...

Seems like someone might want to test this more thoroughly. If the double-dip isn't actually fixed then that would just be really sad, and probably won't portend well for future balance "tweaks." I am TIRED of these nerf-herding Jedi on this nerf-herding ship!

Seeing as it isn't fixed for our force-lightning, pretty sure it's not fixed for our innervate. This makes the 'nerf' to DI also pretty obvious. Further testing would be nice idd though. And given it's not fixed, how would resurgence-innervate-dark heal perform in our 'rotation'? |
