I can pull higher DPS with 2/8/31 on single target but I found the 28/11/2 build to be more powerful. The reliance on Corrosive Grenade with Lethality pisses me off for so many reasons: - Target swapping is a ***** due to the 12 sec CD - The AOE effect is often terrible, for example if CC is necessary or at the 2nd Boss(the 2 Hovertanks) in Denova. I always gotta kick the 2 adds out of the shield in order to not blow up the shield generator with the CG. If you are grouped with a melee in the shield thats a problem ![]() - putting a CD and CG on a target before you can do any meaningful dmg is a pain in the *** and often total overkill - With 28/11/2 I can do single target dmg with no reliance on AOE which is very CC friendly. - I can do insane AOE that totally blows Bounty Hunters out of the water with Orbital Strike and Frag Grenade Spam. Which comes in handy on Denovas final boss for example. - I got a lot more survivability with Ballistic Dampeners and Cover Screen. - I got meaningful dmg during movement with Interrogation Probe, Corrosive Dart, Instant Snipe, Followthrough, 1,5sec Ambush and Explosive Probe - Its easy to fit Interrogation Probe into your rotation due to the increased energy from Sniper Volley. - Interrogation Probe is better DPE than Corrosive Dart with a few armor debuffs on target - Imperial Assassin rocks with a few armor debuffs on the target, I do a lot more dmg when paired with a few BH, so I guess they still stack. - I can burst on demand with no setup time with Dots. The 2/8/31 can do good burst, but doing so will leave you energy starved and if Adrenaline Probe is on CD you got a problem.. Katti/Yoli, Darth Traya EU |

I have been trying alot of diffrent speccs lately to find out what i like best. Currently im running the 2/16/23 build, this is my parse from 2 operation dummy tries and a full EC normal run
http://www.torparse.com/a/7064 I respecced it and only had it for the 2 operation dummy tries before we went to EC, so im looking for some other peoples views on the build and how to build a stable rotation. currently im just focusing on keeping the dots up, using cull and EP on all cds and trying to keep energy over 60% Edit: after looking more at my graphs i realised that the only attack i ever missed on was rifle shot, so ill dump some of my accuracy. My current stats: Damage (Pri) 942 - 1034 Bonus Damage 529.1 Accuracy 99.6 Critical Chance 37.21% Critical Multiplier 72.87% Cunning 1930 Endurance 1622 Aim 112.4 Tech: Bonus dmg 801.1 acc 109.6 activation time 4% any idea what i should focus on increasing initially? Gives me way higher single target damage which imo is alot more important then aoe damage(especially since we run with 1 sorc and 1 Merc in our ops group). |

(Feel free to download the file and then change the orange cells to make different assumptions than I did.) Yes indeed -- for pure MM especially, average weapon damage is quite easily the most influential stat for DPS. One point is worth somewhere around 2 power. I do not understand your calculations. How can you have as low as 31% ranged crit chance, and as high as 76% ranged crit mulitplier? Im in full rakata, ive also exchanged mods to take away crit and hit to power, and im not even close to your multiplier or to your bonus damage. And those numbers, 1480 projected with your mm/engi hybrid spec? EDIT: Think i get it now. Pull Explosive probe as soon as its up. have your followthrough proc 1.5 sec before it comes up again and put up a dot/os and time it so you can do FT directly after which makes dots constant on boss, your energy somewhat high with an occassional Rifle Shot and your dps will go up. I went from 1050 to 1200 with this way of thinking. |

I'm suprized that there is no mention of the enforcer4 set bonus as being viable. With the 31/7/3 build this gives you 55 energy to spend while staying in the fastest energy regen bracket (60 energy or over). You can exploit this bonus over the whole boss fight instead of waiting until he is below %30 like the other bonus.

I just picked up my second campaign relic today and ran some tests.
Campaign Relic of the Cerulean Nova (246 energy proc) + Matrix Cube: 1419 dps parse 1 1414 dps parse 2 Campaign Relic of the Cerulean Nova + Campaign Relic of Boundless Ages (405 power on use): 1489 dps I had a full set of buffs and used rakata skill stim and rakata adrenal: http://www.torparse.com/a/9559 Here's my gear and spec: http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/98...50acdafc20 That's enough of a gap that I think I can finally retire my Matrix Cube, YAY! ------------------- EDIT: I also did another test with the matrix cube and the power relic 1473 DPS http://www.torparse.com/a/9585 I still think it's best to use the proc relic and power relic and retire the matrix cube once you can get both the campaign level relics. |

I tried it for a while, but i found out that other snipers took alot of my weakening blast ticks since we had 2 other snipers running cull/snipers nest builds. is there any chance you could post a parse from a run? where you have to move and can miss targets, mainly want to see how much you miss with 98% acc so i know if i should dump it abit for more power. very impressed by your gear setup and dps
