I hate to break it to you, but MM is probably requires the least set-up time of any spec for any class in the game. Pretty much everyone else has rage to build, DoTs to apply, heat signatures to stack, gaps to close, etc...

I suppose if you don't like the 1.5-second GCD for putting an Explosive Probe on your target, you could try pure MM and rely more on Rapid Fire and Series of Shots.

In any case, this discussion would probably fit better into one of the sniper PvP threads in the PvP forum.
