got my shadow tank up to 50 and started running hard modes (thank you LFG and merges) and I'd like to know what the total rating pool I will have in columi, rakata and BH/campaign so I can use the chart (assuming the chart still hold for 1.3).

From my understanding after reading this thread it seems i should shoot for 2:1:1 (def:shield:abs) until I hit 800ish total, then go 370 defense and 1:1 shield:abs.

also, what cooldown(s) should I use on certain encounters with burst damage coming in, like for jarg and crusher frenzy. From my (limited) experience as a vangaurd tank I leanred how to keep a contant rotation of defensive cooldown, but healing 1.3 sin tank I find they are very squishy and I would like to mitigate that.

thanks

To be honest the chart is accurate but not really helpful do to the amount of shield chance you are given on campaign and black hole gear. This skews the optimal amounts of defense vs absorbtion favoring absorbtion more. There is a BiS tank post on this site that has more information. This game does not allow for easy switching of secondary stats so the chart is essentially unattainable.

Really? Again maybe I am understanding incorrectly or maybe 1.3 hasn't been taken into account. However I am only about 30 off absorb of hitting every number (Def, Shd, Abs) at 1175 global rating.
