RE: Sith Assassin/Jedi Shadow Tanking Compendium
Ramulus86, your question about Swelling Shadows is answered in compendium itself:
Quote:It is worth bearing in mind that Swelling Shadows/Rapid Recovery might look attractive due to the extra potential healing, but as this post by LagunaD shows, the extra healing is a mere 4.1, which is quite poor (especially as +Endurance will lead to roughly 1.7hps due to FL/TT healing). Jeraqui, simply look at the below graph, and use the lighter lines (Def1, Shield1 and Abs1). Add up your total rating (278 + 316 + 259 = 853), find that total rating on the graph and see what the ideal stat distribution is. ![]() In this case, it's roughly 375/150/325, meaning that in an ideal world you should gain 100 Defense, lose 100 Shield and gain 100 Absorb. Of course, Shield is hard to swap for other ratings due to the abundance of it on mods, so the most likely scenario is that you'll simply try to increase Defense and Absorb as much as possible as your gear improves. |
