Ya, I've seen the augments quoted as both 5 and 7 dps. This is the point, by the way, at which having greater amounts of precision is helpful. The difference between 1642 and 1644 dps is pretty granular (0.122%). The difference between 5 and 7 is rather...boulder-like (40%). Those could easily be 5.4995 and 6.5000, or 4.5000 and 7.4995, a world of difference.
