Simulationcraft for Shadow/Assassin
With the release of Simulationcraft 114-1 there is now support for the Shadow/Assassin module. It currently does not support the Republic Jedi Shadow as well as the Sith Assassin, but this will surely be extended in the future.
The main work on the module has been done by Tyrus ( who is also active in these forums ) and he is most qualified to answer/handle all class-related issues here. Great work Tyrus! Any problems with the "core mechanics" in SimulationCraft are best handled in the dedicated thread in the Coding Project section now that we have more than one class. Extra information can be found at in the Shadow/Assassin wiki page. The latest release also contains some preliminary profiles, but there is surely room for improvement. You are invited to contribute to that improvement, feel free to play around with different action priority lists, talents and gear/modifications. |

In regards to hit... is it just me or according to the gear list you have 357 Accuracy which is considerably over the cap. I have to get home and d/l your release to play around with it, though.
Great work, and I'm excited to see the product out. Edit: I'm an idiot... that would be Special Cap, not Basic Cap. |

Any chance of this including pvp gear and being made to include expertise? Looking to figure out the best possible gear selection for a dps Assassin using tank spec in pvp.

indeed, I don't. With this current setup:
Force and Crit are basically worth the same, you can trade 10 force for 10 crit and you will roughtly have the same dps Surge is a bit above accuracy. We are extremely limited with our enhancement choice right now: Force Surge vs Force Accuracy vs Crit Surge |

I personally like Power as aposed to my horrible luck in life translating into horrible crit RNG in game. Also - perhaps obvious - a person could use Orange to fill the one Helm, Hand, or Leg slot instead of Force Master providing they have the Resolve Armoring 25 as well as the Mod/Enh. |

So you either have to wait a bit, or feel free to join us ![]() Oh and Shadow/Assassin tank stuff is also missing, even some dps-viable things for a hybrid build, but we wanted to focus on the main DPS trees for now. |
