Foreman Crusher
This is the third boss of Hutt Hospitality.
To start this fight off, kill the 4 adds (11k hp each I think) that are holding him. As soon as you attack one, the fight starts. The door CLOSES when you pull. (ask me how we know... 7man kill ftw) The fight starts out as a simple tank and spank, with the boss tossing some rocks around that the range has to avoid. Melee friendly fight, right? Nope. Soon enough, the guy enrages, does some fun aoe stuff, and supposedly you have to kite him around the room. The boss slows you when you get hit though, and even with force speed/sorcerer pull the tank couldn't keep him fully kited. Still need to try though, because if you just stand there and take it he'll knock away your tanks 23k HP pretty quickly. After he frenzies, he summons several adds which will try to make friends with a healer. Kill them, then back to burning the boss. His frenzy happens pretty often though, so expect to spend a lot of time running/chasing. This is not a repeat of bonethrasher... We 1 shot this with: 1 Assassin Tank 3 Melee DPS (2 juggy, 1 powertech) 2 Ranged DPS (Sniper, merc) 2 Healers (Sorc, merc) Powertech got stuck outside. (I will upload our kill video when I have the chance, and edit it in.) |

RE: Foreman Crusher
this is almost bonethrasher but with a threat table
this is a tank/healer check from what we could tell (made almost impossible to kite) he has a frenzy that will suddenly make him hit VERY hard tank needs spam healing or will almost certainly die, he is also un-tauntable when in frenzy furthermore occasionally spawns some low-health adds and has a AOE knockback (another tank test, have them sprint back up and pop a quick heal to top off the tank again) |

RE: Foreman Crusher
In our experience the tank can't really just sit there and take it. Our very geared tank just melted under the frenzy (23k - 2k in about 1 global). Had to pull him out then we kited him. Kiting isn't 100% successful, but you seem to avoid half the attacks, which is enough.
While this fight is reminiscent of bonethrasher (I pointed that out myself) it's mostly just because the bosses look the same, and there is a kite phase. It actually plays quite differently. |

RE: Foreman Crusher
we're probably gonna get him on HM today, we'll see about the ability to tank frenzy
though your tank might have a big health pool but lacks avoidance/mitigation maybe (we did have a few tight moments) or its just 8 man that makes it harder |

RE: Foreman Crusher
As the MT for my guild that killed him last night on 8 man Normal, I can confirm that it's possible to tank the enrage without kiting. I cycled my cooldowns (Energy Shield, Kolto Overload, Oil Slick and my trinket) and was healed through it. I had an Operative and a Mercenary healer for heals and I think the lowest I dropped was probably 15%.
I'm in full Columi/Rakata/Champ gear with just under 22k hps buffed ( I don't know my defense/absorb stats off the top of my head). I figure for HM it will be different and I'll need to kite at least a portion of each enrage, but that should be easy with a Sorceror to pull me. |

RE: Foreman Crusher
From my experience in 8M normal, you can tank without kiting... but it's a terrible idea. Especially as you bump up the modes. Just run away from the Frenzy, all is well. That being said, it doesn't look too hard. Even with the Overwhelming Slow, our tank was able to just walk away (not pulled) and be perfectly fine.
The adds have a decent amount of health, but don't hit too terribly hard. They're strongs, so they could conceivably be CC'd, but I am unsure if this halts other waves of adds from spawning or not. Somebody should test this at some point. Rocks fall, and there is apparently a bleed to be healed through somewhere? Not sure where it is, but I recall that a healer mentioned it. |

RE: Foreman Crusher
In our 16 man normal kill we had 2 tanks rotate after they took a frenzy. Frenzies are about every 90 seconds so 3 minute cooldowns should be up for every frenzy. Using multiple Armor buffs/accuracy debuffs during frenzy helps as well. We did not kite at all , although he seems to reset aggro/need to be taunted after frenzy ends and he does his raid AoE.

RE: Foreman Crusher
I ran this today on 8 man normal with no real problem tanking the mini enrage, however for harder difficulty settings I think you will have to kite him. I noticed that before he starting going crazy on your tank he did a White shock wave type scream in front of him. I have not tested it yet but I think this might be the time when you need to have an off-tank (who does not have the slowed movement speed de-buff) Taunt him off and kite him. Once this is done and the Agro dump happens the main tank taunts back off. I will be testing at what point he becomes taunt immune next possible opportunity.
-TLDR Might be possible for Off-Tank to predict when to taunt off the Main-Tank in order to start the kite. Will Test soon and Edit post. |

As an Assassin I just rotated cooldowns, Deflection, Trinket, Armor Adrenal, each one of these can get me through through his Frenzy without having to do any kiting or having to have dps heal. With that said the Frenzy can be made trivial to the point that I don't have to blow any cooldowns and still take basically no damage during frenzy without kiting the boss. |

RE: Foreman Crusher
On 16-man, tank swapping after each frenzy and popping all cooldowns for Frenzy seems to be the way to go. Damage was so negligible that I suspect it will work for HM also.
