Orange (Custom) Bracers and Belts

I understand u use mods to level them up as you level, but green gear is enough for leveling and you find a LOT of it. So why bother spending 200k (lol) on one of these.

At level 50, orange bracers/belts let you get different combinations of stats than standard items (particularly more of your primary stat), and are possibly best-in-slot for certain classes/specs, when filled with an armoring from daily quests and a mod stolen from high level raid/pvp gear.

A blue box in the 41-48 range can drop a custom belt. Also treasure hunting mission "Jeweled Premium Mission Case" from a 41-48 lockbox mission can crit to give you a belt.

I' ve been able so far to get

Sith Inq belt-lvl 34
IA Bracers-43
Sith Warrior Bracers-level 15
BH Bracers-level 43
IA Belt-Level 34-35
Sith Warrior Belt -level 34-35

Most people have been selling them 3-15k, and I've managed to relist them b/w 80-100k and they sell pretty well on my server. But I will admit, They are still pretty hard to find on the GTN. Either they are /that/ rare, or people get them before I get home to scan for them.

I just wish the GTN would allow you to search by slot and not stop at armor type.

you can search for oranges by sorting for rating.
I think it's getting better than crafted gear as soon as you can put raid mods in.

I have found multiple blank level 12 req orange belts. Oddly enough all with Trooper class requirement. I have seen them linked as high as lvl 42 req in guild chat. Never seen bracers drop. My attempts to trade my Trooper belts for Smuggler req versions have thus far been unsuccessful. qq

the easiest way to get a BELT is to buy it with pilot medals.
don`t waste you money on it, just do the spaceship missions for 2 days and you got it.
I got one from myself, 2 for my companions, and bought a bracer for me from GTN.

Aren't those all Light armor?

I will provide some information. I have the names of 6 (only 2 different classes) sets of moddable gear that include moddable belts and bracers.
SI
Saber Marshal (lvl 15ish)
Supreme Inquisitor (lvl 37ish) and
Grand Inquisitor (lvl 45ish)

BH
TD-17A Imperator (lvl 15ish)
RD-17A Hellfire (lvl 37ish)
TT-17A Hydra (lvl 45ish)

The level 15 ones drops off Dormund Kaas Gold Eiltes by the Dark Temple. Very low drop rate. As a note their entire sets have a variable level requirement for each piece. Case is the Saber Marshal set actually is Level 15 for Belt and Bracer, while the rest of the pieces are Level 27-32 base with no mods.

Also to note, when searching the GTN for them, as the GTN counts moddable items with no mods as levelless and of white quality, even if there is a level requirement to use the items. I will see if I can find more information about the other sets for SW and IA and possibly any info on the Republic counterparts.
