correct. Still needs to be checked in the real game

Buffs are additive. For example, I have 1000 endurance, then get a stim for 100 end, I will have 1100. If I have a talent and buff that gives 3% and 5% end, I will have 1100*(1+.03+.05)= 1188 endurance.

Thanks. Then my tool does it correct.

RE: Project "Shield"
BTW, two things I am working on right now:

1. Inclusion of Examiation of Crits (the "Squishiness/EDT" factors done by some other spreadsheets, basically these will give two edit boxes where you can enter the boss' Crit+Surge, and then there will be new columns after which to sort your item results to minimize Squishiness/EDT.

2. Support for Jedi Knight and Trooper Tanks. I am very interested if someone can point me to the correct EDR calculation for them as well as the factors for Effective Health. Or are they found in the formula thread? I found already the correct formula for Armor DR for them.

RE: Project "Shield"
Version 0.7:

http://www.file-upload.net/download-4091...s.zip.html

Version 0.7 has the following changes:

- Preparation of the code for inclusion of the other two tank-types (feature
is currently disabled, as not included yet)
- Fixing of a bug where I am not sure if it is actually in 0.6 or was only in an
internal version which made sorting behave strange and also did not update
the results when you clicked on a mod/enhancement/etc.
- I added "Squishiness" from the popular spreadsheet (thanks to the author of
the squishiness spreadsheet for the work, and also to Neokarasu for explaining
the maths behind "Squishiness" by private messages to me).
- Fixing of the "delta EDR" calculations which were still using an old formula
(overlooked this in 0.6).
- Some minor UI improvements
- Default Sort Order is now after Squishiness

Sorry, that this breaks the Character Savefile format again.

Please note that 0.8 most likely will see a minor change in the fileformat for the data files (for specifying which class/spec will use which items).

Anyone who can tell me the formula's for Effective Health and EDR for Jedi Knight Tank and Trooper tank? Basically those are what is missing to add support for those two specs. Thanks in advance to anyone who can explain this to me!

Also, anyone has an idea what might be a good default value for Boss Crit and Boss Surge for the Squishiness calculation?

Also, if anyone has a possibility for a permanent site for my project to upload to, this would be great!

at google docs you can also upload arbitrary files (not just spreadsheets etc)

Ah, I did not know this. Thanks.

Seems also I need to upload new, I by mistake included an old version of the exe (0.7) into the archive Sad

EDIT: Quick reupload: http://www.file-upload.net/download-4092...s.zip.html

Contains partially working support of the other two tankclasses also.

RE: Project "Shield"
A tank comparision using my latest version of "Project Shield", using the BiS-items (not including Mastercraft, also not including exchanging mods/enhancements/etc., just using the default ones for the set items):

Shadow:

Eff. Health: 64508
Actual Health: 21280
EDR: 67.01%
Squishiness: 0.4032

Jedi Knight:

The two values listed are between 0% Blade Barricade Uptime and 100% Blade Barricade Uptime.

Eff. Health: 50042-54295
Actual Health: 19310
EDR: 61.41%-64.44%
Squishiness: 0.4383-0.4040

RE: Project "Shield"
Ok, I fixed the maths for the Armor calculations on JK/Trooper. So now here is my tank comparision (new version of my tool will also be made available soon):

Basically this means:

Equip as itemized "when you get your set":

Trooper > Shadow > JK

(though the Shadow has a higher Eff. Health than the Trooper, he has a higher Squishiness, value of the JK depends a lot on the uptime of Blade Barricade)

"Perfect itemization" (with exchanging mods a lot):

Trooper > Shadow > JK

Shadow:

Eff. Health: 62931
Actual Health: 21280
EDR: 66.19%
Squishiness: 0.3897

Shadow optimized:

Eff. Health: 65583
Actual Health: 19200
EDR: 70.72%
Squishiness: 0.3444

JK:

Eff. Health: 54119-58754
Actual Health: 19590
EDR: 63.80%-66.66%
Squishiness: 0.4106-0.3782

JK optimized:

Eff. Health: 55394-60076
Actual Health: 18810
EDR: 66.04%-68.69%
Squishiness: 0.3886-0.3583

Trooper Tank:

Eff. Health: 63477
Actual Health: 20900
EDR: 67.07%
Squishiness: 0.3766

Trooper Tank optimized:

Eff. Health: 73587
Actual Health: 20290
EDR: 72.43%
Squishiness: 0.3223

Also here is an evaluation of the effectiveness of the "default" Mods/Enhancements/etc. compared to an optimized version:

Shadow:

113.6% Squishiness of optimum
96.0% Eff. Health of optimum
93.5% EDR of optimum

JK:

102.2% Squishiness of optimum
97.8% Eff. Health of optimum
97% EDR of optimum

Trooper:

116.8% Squishiness of optimum
86.2% Eff. Health of optimum
92.6% EDR of optimum

I read this as that the itemization of the trooper is the most broken one, after that
the Shadow, and last the JK.
