RE: Space Missions
Top tier equipment is crafted with Cybertech from schematics acquired by Slicing. Requires between level 43 and 49 to use for each piece. Crafting reqs between 330 and 390. Note that tiers 2 and 4 are also crafted, and are pretty good; check the GTN to see if the price beats the vendor. Plus they look cool, and who doesn't want a pimped-out starship?

RE: Space Missions
Note!: The crafted tiers only have 5 out of the 6 basic module slots available. There are no T2 or T4 Beam Charger modules, and there's no Beam Generator T6 module.

RE: Space Missions
The beam generator is a quest reward from Space Combat: Aeten Defense or Space Combat: Clouds of Vondoru in Unknown Regions according to Torhead comments. Good catch noticing that I forgot to list it, though.
Beam chargers rank 2 and 4 are likewise quest rewards. You probably got at least one of them. So I discovered something annoying. You can use your arrow keys to move your ship around independent of aiming, and it's really useful. Only problem is, to move left and right you need to hit the keyboard turn buttons. I unbound those before I even moved my character for the first time, and I'm not looking forward to changing my controls around every time I want to do a space mission. |

RE: Space Missions
A couple of hidden bonus objectives:
- destroy the bottom spire during the "attack the space station" type missions (takes about 20 missiles) - destroy the bridge during the "attack the capital ship" type missions (again, takes about 20 missiles) - destroy frigate shield generators during the "defend the space station from bombers" type missions - destroy frigate shield generators during the "blow up fighters in the ice field" type missions (at least in the second iteration of this mission, not sure about the first) All these give a nice chunk of bonus xp and I think also credits. |

RE: Space Missions
I haven't seen it been said, but you gain exactly 100 Fleet Accomidations doing all of the dailies.
Since the epic Grade 6 Box costs 375, that's essentially a free epic every 4 days plus all of the credits from doing these missions. |

RE: Space Missions
Your guide seems pretty good no obvious errors, and while I think you overstate the difficultly I also think people may be a lot worse than me so I guess it evens out =P
IMO the hardest mission is Clouds of Vondoru as that is the only mission where dying from enemy fire is a real threat. My best advice for this at least when beating it for the first few times is to not worry about the bonus objective, but focus on staying alive. The most crucial point is fairly early in the mission when you're flying high above the station and the 2 captial ships are right in front of you and eventually the other 2 ships will attack you as well. At some point during that phase you'll want to stop shooting ( despite their being a lot of things to shoot at) and regenerate your shields. That should give you just enough hull to make it through the rest of the mission if you regenerate shield at the appropriate places later on. Electronic Warfare Pod can help a lot as well. Obviously you need to focus your missiles on the shield generators and such as well whenever they are in range. One other major tip for the minefield/asteroid belt missions. You can move your ship with WASD you don't have to rely on the mouse alone. This lets you dodge rocks while shooting in another direction. Lackies of <Vicious Cycle> on Shadow Hand |

RE: Space Missions
I found it weird that there was no lvl 50 missions o_O I didnt even get to buy proton torpedos or EMP, and easily completed the final mission with only 1 epic upgrade. What the hell are proton missiles for anyway? you can one-shot something, but why? The shielded stuff, like the command deck on top of the big starship or the antenna at the bottom of the space station?
