Someone explain the PVP gear
I understand that you get commendations, 1 kind each from warzones and open world. You spend some of each to buy the purple gear bags and those contain the "champion commendations" with some %age chance to drop a PVP gear item. You swap the champion commendations for gear. Is this correct?
Now with that in mind, if I am correct, what do you guys think about the random factor? |

Is this correct? You turn in tokens for gear or to get a box that gives a random gear piece. The random factor is annoying, since you can get gear you can't use, or potentially already have. RE: Someone explain the PVP gear
I'm probably skipping the random factor and saving up for the more important gear.

I havn't really looked into the game myself, but random factors are always a bad decision if you want to get good gear asap. So I will probably do the same, unless the random gear is better then the non-ranodm gear

It's probably not even worth it to waste comms on the blue gear. Guard This: A Jedi Guardian's Blog - Shards of Alderaan |

RE: Someone explain the PVP gear
So I'm approaching the 1000 cap for Warzone Commendations - what are people currently doing with theses? Is it best to buy the Blue lvl50 PvP gear, or should I be saving towards something else?

And as such you can convert some commendations to mercenary ones ( or earn some mercenary commendations) to purchase them. |

RE: Someone explain the PVP gear
Dare I sound silly and ask where can I convert/buy these 'random' bags? Is the lvl50 PvP Blues a waste then? Better to save?
I'm confused how the ranks of gears go, can anyone enlighten me? |

RE: Someone explain the PVP gear
Skip the blue PvP gear. The "Random" bags are much more efficient, they probably have something like a 20-25% chance to have an item in them and they're the tier 1 epic (Champion) set.
At low levels, convert your Warzone comms into Mercenary comms and save them for 50. |

RE: Someone explain the PVP gear
Is there even blue lvl 50 gear? I didn't find it at the fleet vendors.
Not that I'd buy it... I'm converting into Mercenary commendations at level 36 because I already bought all the 40 gear... |
