RE: Immortal | Defense Compendium | A Tank's Guide To The Galaxy
The Advanced Armorning 25s come from drops in HM Ops (EV/KP).. They typically sell on my server anywhere from 300-500k. Check every day and you'll eventually find one.

Some stat discussions:
I've completely stopped worrying about accuracy. I know people say to stack up to 105%, but it just seems useless to me. The mechanic of our taunt makes missing a non-issue. Im not trying to bust out DPS, I'm trying to keep threat. I know this sounds somewhat counterproductive, but the stat allocation of accuracy on my gear takes away from other defensive stats, so I remod all the Acc related Enhancements/Mods out of my Rakata gear. I do not have an issue holding single target threat.

When I first began raiding I also attempted to stack Defense (which is actually kind of hard, considering the itemization available to us.) I got some T2 Mastercraft Implants and a Mastercraft ear, and augmented all the defense I could get. I felt extremely squishy when tanking HMs, and decided something needs to change. Since then, i've moved my stats to a more balanced distribution and noticed my Defense sits around 22%, but my Shield/Absorb are both in the 40+%, which seems like a pretty good place to have them.

On a more general note - think about what the Juggernaut is. It just SEEMS like the class is supposed to soak damage, not avoid damage. Big bad sith warrior shouldn't be Jack-Be-Nimble and dodging/parrying tons of incoming attacks. He/She should be eating that damage, laughing it off, spitting in the face of the Jedi, and walking with a strut. I'd like to think BioWare had THIS in mind for our AC as opposed to wanting to stack defense - and if the itemization ('fixed' in 1.2) is any indication, they feel the same way. The updated Rakata from PTR is very heavy on absorbtion.
