He is suggesting that come 1.2, you go out and buy some orange gear that has augment slots. Then take out the armorings, mods, and enhancements from your rakata gear and slap it on to the orange gear. Youll keep the set bonuses, so itll be like augmented rakata.

And no, you can not buy augmented implants or ear pieces from the daily vendor.
