Antarius, all good points, and certainly the Vengeance spec is still do-able. But still, in looking at my priorities Immortal still wins for the following reasons.
1) Backhand is the highest aggro ability you can have and Crushing blow is second. You lose them both. 2) Less mitigation: No Quake (5% hit), No shield (4%), No Sonic barrier, No Dark blood (4% internal/elemental), shorter endure pain duration 3) Less rage without sweeping fury 4) Channeled force choke without Force Grip sucks The Vengeance spec does pick up the extra mitigation from intercede, when it's up, and the extra 4%. I hear you, and I'm not saying the spec can't work. But in looking at all of the 4 priorities, I have to stick with the Immortal spec. I'd say the Vengeance spec is much more versatile as an Off tank. Where Impale does significant dmg and the intercede, force charge combo can help mitigate dmg when needed during burst situations.
