Basically, and I'm not really good at math...
But the 22/19 spec is essentially taking off 2k damage every 20 seconds (Rounding to 20 to compensate for shield percentage vs total dmg reduction) , or in other words.. 10% of your health is not taken in damage. The Deafening defense spec, to be better, therefore would need to prevent more than 10% health of your health during its 6 second duration. So if your health fluctuates more than 50% (20% of that reduced) during that 6 second intercede duration, you've come out ahead with the intercede spec. Pretty much every boss will hit harder than that, if a healer can get by without healing for 12 seconds, then it probably doesn't matter "what" you spec. |
