My modeling of the Inj+SP rotation (See here) has me casting DS 22.5% of the time for 4.5% of the total healing done, plus a whole 85 energy returned over a 5 minute fight for another 3.4 Injection+SPs. All told, it would reduce total healing by 5-6% if I hit Rifle Shot instead of DS. I'm starting into HM Ops and that little bit of DPS that I do when I can actually goes a looooong way. I am the main healer for a guild that has done 4/5 EV HM and 5/5 KP normal. Though for the most part I have to move a lot. I am tank healing and helping with raid healing when necessary which requires me to be between the raid and the boss. Obviously, for most fights this means I have to move a lot. I end up with a rotation of Kolto Injection (when I can stand still), Surgical Probe, and Kolto Probe. I can spam these indefinitely back to back. I generally pick different targets for each of them as well depending on the circumstance. The extremely long channel time of DS has me turned off from using it as well. Again, this is due to my position between the tanks and the raid. Also, why is noone taking the Lethality tier 1 crit bonus talent? It adds up to 6% crit to all tech for 3 points. It affects healing as healing is tech for us as well. |
