For instance, I was at a loss and frustrated with how things seemed to be going for me as an Operative healer, in situations where I was the sole healer (certain bosses in heroic flashpoints, mostly). Do mind, I have an excess amount of Rakata-level items right now, and am generally very well geared from our guild's PVE groups. However, it always seemed off. HOT's were too random to depend on (since if they don't crit they are quite mediocre), and the energy drain felt too much if one had to maintain various HOT's or RN here and there, as well as cast heals. I've been using KInj+SP for longer time now. As soon as you can get SP i guess. Found out early that it was the way to go for me. Keeping the tank up in FP's is easy that way. For now i have about 8% alacrity so my KInj take about 1.82s cast and although a 1.7s cast time is nice. That .1s or .2s will only save the day how many times in a FP or Op? I think that number is very low. If you would go with more +power you base heals would go up, meaning if you don't crit your KInj+SP could heal about 1K more. BTW, i'm about half item level 136 geared now and have 540 bonus healing raid buffed. |
