I am very energy dependent, very little burst potential. Sages seem to be able to do anything we can do with endless force.

I don't see the synergy between our burst heals and koto probe. I feel like a wow shammy with lesser healing wave, greater healing wave, and a druid's lifebloom...the spells don't seem to mesh together very well.

I feel I am doing half the heals I would be able to do as a sorc in 16-man operations.

Any advice or feedback is appreciated.
I felt that way until I started weaving underworld medicine with emergency medpac. Forget your heal over time and just try using your big heal immediately followed by your free heal. Your HPS will skyrocket because you will be using energy much more efficiently.

This - it's a little worse than just chaining big heals but it's super sustainable. Doing this without doing anything else usually has me second on threat. Add in rolling hots & abusing AoE opportunities and you'll see your HP/S become intimidating.
