RE: OP Raid setup

According to the post by Bioware last week it'll be 4. Which, IMO, is fair. 500 - 700 every second, if you stay in it, on 8 people, with a 2 second initial cast time. 2,500 - 3,500 instantly, can be used while moving, on 4 people. They're both strong, and both have spots where they shine. To keep the post somewhat on topic, I do feel that currently any combination of 2 (8m) or 4(16m) healers is doable, although sure, on some fights certain healers are better than others. (Op on bonethrasher, Sorc on Annihilator, etc) If Mercs hit 8 people it'd be much too strong I think, what with it's speed and high burst. |

RE: OP Raid setup
We've cleared nightmare 16 EV with four healers, of which only one was a sage (2 commandos, 1 sage, 1 scoundrel), and we've got nightmare 16 Karagga to 6% before the instance bugged. We also use two tanks.
So while you should have at least one sorc/sage, don't feel handcuffed if you can't get two. Rooks - Assault Vanguard Raid Czar, Hand of the Republic Sanctum of the Exalted Server (US East RP PvE) |
