Deimous on the SWTOR subreddit seems to have figured out the formula for the companion affection efficiency bonus:

Quote:Floor((X+1000)/733)=Y%

X is your current affection level and Y is the % your mission times is reduced by.

This lines up with the numbers I have been collecting. All my times are within 1 second, which is almost certainly due to input error as I have been trying to catch the timer immediately after I send the companion on a mission and before the timer starts to tick down. I wish it would tell you the final time in the mission window, including all efficiency bonuses, instead of just the base times, but oh well.

Companion efficiency bonuses add to the affection bonus.
