RE: Scoundrel/Operative DPS Compendium
Excellent point on Underdog and I'd completely forgotten about it sorry. Lots of things going on atm.
With regards to your spec, I stayed away from defense as 2% of a stat that we have very little of, will be even smaller. As endurance is an auxillery stat, we will gain a larger benefit from it imo as we have a larger pool. Also K.O. and Flee the Scene aren't that usefull in PvE (especially boss encounters) as one requires you to be in stealth, and the other is on a long CD. I went for extra heals and endurance in order to increase my survivability and give the healers an easier time of it. Open Wound/Mortal Wound could definitely be up from grabs as to the best one, however as Vital shot is the most expensive ability we have, I want to use it the least amount of times, which is why I went with Open Wound. Either way man, both specs will excel, as we're only talking about utility talents. I'll have to do some extra testing on Vital Shot to get the exact numbers and where we are best placing your points into. I'll update the energy regen section to show Underdog tonight though when I'm at home. One thing though, going off the tool tip description: Increases the amount of energy recovered by each tick of Pugnacity by [0.5 / 1 / 1.5]. Wouldn't 3 ranks of Underdog provide a net benfit of 7.5 energy per second in the top tier? 5 base + 1 Pugnacity + 1.5 Underdog = 7.5 If I'm right than it's going to be even more important to keep in the top tier of regeneration, as it will provide 11.25 energy over a global CD, almost as much as most abilities (15) |
