RE: Imperial Agent & Smuggler - Simple Questions and Answers
Thanks....we're mostly ok getting them down now, if we miss it's because the walker decided to open fire right where the tanks and melee and standing and are forced to move....but occasionally I we miss it for whatever reason. Then we'll kill him easily with one dps dead :/ So clearly there is inconsistency in our dps performance. Looks like I do almost the same thing, I tend to forgo using OS or CD but I usually pop IP while I'm running into position. Once we are all decked out in 61 gear I'm sure it'll be more consistent, heh.

Also, since the Bomb can come out of three spots, we usually setup in the middle and have the powertech pull him in to the crowd. This prevents any loss in time if a Bomb spawns on the far side to you. *UPDATE* The rotation I mention earlier is what I currently use on the Bombs |

RE: Imperial Agent & Smuggler - Simple Questions and Answers
I'm sorry if this has been asked, but I couldn't find it.
Does anyone know where I can find how damage is calculated for each specific ability? I am interested in the coefficients that determine the weighting for basic dmg, bonus dmg, etc for each sniper ability. Thanks |

For example, Ambush = .25*(basic weapon dmg)+3*(bonus dmg). That isn't intended to be accurate, just a possible example, I don't even know if the calculation is as simple as that. I want to know the coefficients (the .25 and 3 in the example) so I know how basic, bonus and tech dmg is weighted for each ability. |

Download Node Viewer and then use it to inspect the .tor files the game installs on your machine and you can find all the coefficients and stuff. http://mmo-mechanics.com/swtor/forums/thread-448.html will give you more information about it.
If you were just wondering about ambush, its Coefficient is 3.47, Amount Modifier Percent is 1.31, and standard health percent min and max are both 0.347 |
