Sure they will. Hidden Strike with Jarring Strike provides a perfect opportunity for a Backstab, you can Debilitate the mob for another, and you can use it if any aggro to Loken from healing aggro. Sure, you don't get to spam it ad nauseum, but Loken is also a beast for survivability while soloing.

And honestly, Hidden Strike (w/ Jarring Strike) -> Backstab -> Lacerate -> Shiv -> Lacerate is powerful enough that it's getting nerfed due to PvP OPness.
