RE: Picking an advanced class: Agent
Thank you for this.
I left my agent at 10 for a few days while I researched this. In the end I went operative for one big reason: I did not care too much for the cover mechanic, especially in PvP. Of course I also carefully read what everyone said. After going Operative, I was tinkering with an Assassin which feels incredibly similar, but perhaps with a better companion? (At least at lower levels) It's so hard to figure these things out at lower levels, but the Assassin mechanic feels extremely similar in many respects except where the Assassin has some ranged 'lightning' mechanics, it feels like the Operative has 'gadgetry' instead. The mechanics are clunky to me right now. I'm not sure if this is the class for me. I feel with my Juggernaut it took a really long time to get good at in PvP but he was able to adapt to most PvP situations. I am worried my Operative is going to function the exact opposite. Of course this is coming from super low level play (just hit the teens with him.) Still, great storyline. Operative might have issues, but many fear them in pvp and after watching a lot of video, I just felt the 'kneel behind your shield' thing left something to be desired in some of the faster moving PvP arenas. (As mentioned, I may not be great at it, but love PvP, especially with the new brackets.) Still kind of figuring this guy out, and hoping he gets more... interesting. Thanks again. I'm still looking for feedback if anyone wants to add anything. Thanks. |
