Well here's my 2 cents.

Oddly enough after playing an Op since day 1 I may be rerolling a sniper very soon. I originally went Ops to be able to heal as my guild needed and play as the Lethality spec I enjoy. But we have no need for healers so thats out and now I'm sitting between Leth and Concealment. On top of that we are a bit short on ranged dps.

I'm just going to say it though it makes me very sad, Conc is just flat out better. A week ago we finally had enough to do EV and we crushed it. I noticed that people who were weeks behind in time and gear doing as good or better dps than me while I was Leth. This week I tried the same raid as Conc and it was just better. (BTW Im basing my feeling off of the kill your own boss fight.) Again the same 73k hp solo boss, I killed him noticeably faster.

What my little story all boils down to is,
Ops PvE: Leth is horridly energy starved and you waste time stim boosting and Ad Probing. Your rotation is priority based and takes much more effort to do properly. The upside is that you can be moving and keep much of it up and its a challange and fun in a good way. While Conc is easy and does more dmg. But I feel is boring and can be annoying as always needing to be behind a boss for max dmg gets old on the mainly mobile fights BW likes. Though no real energy issues helps.

Ops PvP: Leth is the annoying screw that other team over spec. Slows, much better aoe and no real positioning issues make it a fun harasser. But to proc TA you need to shiv which blows. You have to do a full 5 skill rotation to do good single target dmg, takes a long time (though it hits really hard when you pull it off). Conc is standard stealth play. Don't get seen, open up and try and rape a single target. Which you will, to the tune of nerf Ops.

The quick version, Leth is fun and challenging. You have this weird spec that uses tons of skills that can aoe well, but forces you to be in melee range to be effective. Conc, is the standard stealth in behind and crush a single target spec. The real question you want to know is stealth and melee or range and cover. Thats where your real choice lies.

Last thought, if your Dr Lokin is bad, then you fail hard at keeping is gear upgraded. He's amazing like every healer in the game.
