So the dps in my guild recently started using stop watches to time our Infernal Council fights on Nightmare Mode.
On my last run I clocked in at ~1375 dps (rounded up from 1374.5060). There is room for me to tighten up my rotation a little. Missing a few rail shots when they first become available, that sort of thing. I can probably shave off another 10 seconds, which would put me at around 1562.79 dps. Plus I forgot to use my Relic and I didn't use any stims, so that probably put me further behind by another 5 or 6 seconds overall. So I'm looking at maybe being able to tighten up to around 1670. The Kicker is, I'm using Mercinary Pyrotech. I have some 3 to 4 guild members who are running Mercenary Arsenal (one of them is sometimes a healer) as well. They're current numbers in those fights are between 1450 and 1612. As for missing Rail Shots, its never an issue with Unload because it ends the cooldown on your Rail Shot with the firs tick of damage. But with Power Shot, the cooldown proc doesn't go off until Power Shot does damage which is when you have to cast your next ability so it's easy to miss. In terms of gear I think we're pretty close to even. My current Loadout: Rakata Eliminators: Gloves, Pants, Head Rakata Offhand Rakata Eliminator's Ear Piece Rakata Eliminator's Implant X2 Rakata Relic with 30% 230 energy damage proc every 4.5 seconds. Columi: Chest and Boots. Columi: Main hand Columi: +Crit +Surge Relic (I do have power Relic also, but not equipped) |
