RE: PvE Healing - Discussion
Sorry, my question was mainly about whether Recuperative Nanotech is an important skill to have to make for a viable PvE-healer in flashpoints. Petrus has answered this with a lot of good points, thank you.
In general, it would be interesting to have an overview about the latest numbers, what the healing skills heal at a given level. This would allow an assessment whether for example Kolto Injection should be preferred over Surgical Probe or vice versa. Can any beta player help out? Even without added dps-capabilities, I would try to melee an add-mob for additional TAs via Shiv. I believe I could sustain the damage of a single add-mob, and an additional TA every six seconds could be worth it. It basically translates to a quick extra Surgical Probe. I have only beta played the Black Talon at level 12 and it hardly serves for a good late-game assessment. But in there, it was a lot of fun to not be a mere healing-bot and to alternate between damage and healing, as the situation calls for. After all, killing some mobs earlier prevents a lot of damage, too. If viable, I would love to maintain this playstyle in endgame. |
