RE: SWTOR formula list

Most of standard mobs were showing 13% damage reduction [ actual = (1-13%)*expected ] . But SOME standard mobs were showing 23% reduction, and some strong were showing even higher. I used FL ticks to test - excluding crits, they have fixed value (reduced by armor of course). I found that actual damage reduction was 15%, not 13%. I compared to wrong 'base' values, and also was using damage formula as: Dmg= NominalDmg*(1+ damageTalentBonuses% - BossDamageReduction%) First part of formula is bit simplified here, but for that "BossDamageReduction" part, closer to test results appear to be : NominalDmg*(1+ damageTalentBonuses%)*(1 - BossDamageReduction%) Anyway, my comment on some standard mobs having different (higher) damage reduction than this one still remains. Also, I corrected formula that I use in my DPS Sorcerer calculator, which I finally posted here on SI forum, since I also tested and found few remaining infos that I missed - which is not to say it is error-free, but I believe it is close enough to give meaningful results ;p |
