That's awesome, but when I should switch from stacking primary augments to power augments?

Also we should consider the answer for when we're raid buffed vs non raid buffed. My non math answer is that difference in bonus damage from power doesn't seem to make up for the enhanced crit (especially with the shape of the curve on primary stat crit chance) for most realistic stat values.

Crit chance can also include a bonus from a secondary stat. I'm trying to work out the crit % from the primary stat per point for evaluating Primary Stat vs Power.

Just to confirm, the formula for Crit Chance% purely from primary stat would be as follows:

30 * ( 1 - ( 1 - ( 0.01 / 0.3 ) )^( ( PrimaryStat / max(Level,20) ) / 2.5 ) )



Using that formula in a spread sheet I found the following breakpoints which people might find useful.

All based on a level 50 character

125 = 1% crit
254 = 1.997% crit chance (127.19 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
388 = 2.989% crit chance (129.48 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
528 = 4.003% crit chance (131.91 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
672 = 4.998% crit chance (134.44 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
823 = 6.001% crit chance (137.13 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
980 = 7.002% crit chance (139.96 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
1144 = 8.002% crit chance (142.95 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
1315 = 8.999% crit chance (146.12 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
1495 = 10.0% crit chance (149.50 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
1684 = 10.999% crit chance (153.10 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
1883 = 11.998% crit chance (156.95 Primary Stat per 1% crit)
