1) Can critical hits be parried/dodged using the defense stat? I.e. say sniper X shoots at me, white damage, and it turns out to be a parry, does that skip the roll to check if it's a critical and therefore completely mitigate the attack or is there still a crit roll that would allow it to hit regardless.



2) On attacks that can't be shielded, tech attacks etc... does shield chance still work against crit chance? IE is it still worth having shield chance in PVP even if you aren't actively shielding the attacks, if only to lower the crit chance of your opponents against you.

1) Misses can not be crits.
2) Crit chance overrides Shield Chance when their sum exceeds 100%
