RE: SWTOR formula list
Sorry if my question is stupid, I bought 2x +41 power white crystals before 1.2
does it mean i'm loosing badly versus 2x41 expertise, knowing the rest of the gear has also expertise? |

Quote:Sorry if my question is stupid, I bought 2x +41 power white crystals before 1.2 Even if you have a massive amount of Power and dead 0 Expertise, the net difference from 82 Power over 82 Expertise is still going to be relatively small. At the gear level I suspect you have to even be concerned about that, it's going to be a complete non-issue. Even Angels must kill from time to time...

RE: SWTOR formula list
Do the Legacy bonuses always work? I appears I have the additional stats on the character sheet in warzones.
On a different note, did the scaling of non-expertise get changed? Ashstorm - Sorcerer http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/8a...f065cdb66b Ashtech - Powertech http://swtor.askmrrobot.com/character/86...e5f049799e |

RE: SWTOR formula list
I have been trying to match the minimum damage tooltip for the Cauterize ability at level 50 for my Sentinel but cannot match the figure. I am hoping one of you guys can point out where I have gone wrong.
Cauterize tooltip = 687 - 818 MH Min - 302 OH Min (including DW penalty) - 202 (201.96 unrounded) Bonus Damage = 383.5 (383.46 unrounded) AmountModifierPercent = 0.6 StandardHealthPercentMax = 0.02 StandardHealth = 1610 Coefficient = 0.2 = (1.6 * 302) + (1.6 * 201.96 * 0.3) + (383.46 * 0.2) + (0.02 * 1610) = 483.2 + 96.9408 + 76.692 + 32.2 = 689.0328 As you can see, the value is 2 out from the tooltip so something is not quite right. Any ideas? |

RE: SWTOR formula list
I can't seem to figure out the loss of around 3-4% Crit after patch. Was the DR changed for Crit as well and I just missed it like a noob?

RE: SWTOR formula list
Quote:Any ideas? The current game files are listing StandardHP Min and Max of 0.06, Coefficient 0.6, AmountModifier of -0.6 (the 0.2 stuff is for the bleed). The damage spread in the tooltip comes from your weapon on weapon attacks, not from disparate min/max values. Using: MH Min - 302 OH Min (including DW penalty) - 202 (201.96 unrounded) Bonus Damage = 383.5 (383.46 unrounded) We get: 0.4*302 + 0.4*201.96 + 0.6*383.5 + 0.06*1610 120.8 + 80.784 + 230.1 + 96.6 = 528.284 I'm also assuming you have the skill Repelling Blows (30% increased damage), which boosts that up to 686.7691 = 687, precisely the minimum you're seeing. By the way, the 0.3 presented in the original formula is the baseline dualwield modifier, so you don't need to apply it again. With 3/3 Dual Wield Mastery, your modifier is actually 0.66 instead, but that's off the listed damage on the weapon itself, not off the stats section of your character sheet (which already applies the modifier). Even Angels must kill from time to time...
