Anything under 104% Ranged, not Special, will cause you to miss with Unload. There is no debating it. It is a well known fact. Facts > Assumptions.

Facts > Assumptions. where does this Fact come from? i just proved its Special Attack and not Ranged accuracy. where does this magical 4 extra percent come from and why is it needed? if your assuming, which is wrong, that unload is ranged accuracy and not special attack accuracy you would need 110% ranged accuracy not to miss due to boss 10% defense. As of right now you have posted min/maxed gear with no dps proof. and Claiming an additional 4% accuracy needed on something that doesn't need it. Right now your just a troll. Infernal Empire

Curious about your choice in relics, I just did a few 5 minute OP test dummy runs mixing up the Matrix Cube, Campaign Kinetic and Campaign Power, and I got the best results when using the Kinetic/Power combination. Not by much, (~40DPS) but an increase over the cube regardless. Does the cube scale better with more power or something?

I don't know why Zero did ~1300s when him and I do 1400s+ on the target dummies.BUT if you look at Arthug, you see that he lost 112 DPS due to misses hahahahah. Zero lost out on 60 DPS and this was his worst parse. So you're comparing someones best parse with someones worst. Congrats. Arthug still lost out on 112 DPS which is significant. You guys can continue doing it your way- the charts show how flawed it is. We're in between tiers so the route to go is accuracy power. You are losing over 100 dps thinking that accuracy isn't worth it. The BiS list I made keeps us up around 38% crit buffed, over 700 power, around 2200 aim and 104 accuracy. You will gain the benefit of critting numerous times while attacking even harder from power... as well as NOT missing with the accuracy. http://www.torparse.com/a/21461 Thats my parse. I fucked up and went 1min longer than I was supposed to and fucked up my rotation because I'm on vent talking about hot gamer girls. Don't judge. Oh and my DPS loss was a lot less than yours. While my total DPS was like 30 less than yours... while going 1min longer by accident. I showed my evidence, and you showed yours. If you still want to believe you're superior- I'm not stopping you. I know where I stand and thats all I care about. I know I'm right and thats all that matters. -Not to mention I did a lot more damage with ~70 less abilties used I'll continue topping meters. Enjoy.

Yeah he missed alot of those hits. You also failed to account for damage gained elsewhere by having that extra surge. All in all that extra 4% for you is just so your offhand unload ticks land which isnt that great compared to what it can used for. Sure once you are in the upper 70s in crit damage it might be worth it, but until then 10% accuracy is about all you need. |

Those misses mean losing out on an additional 300-500 PER unload. Before 1.2, I may have agreed with just having that 10% accuracy, however now with the changes to make Unload proc even more- I will have to disagree. Overall in fights- Unload is nearly on par with Tracer for how much overall damage you put out. You use both Around 35-38% of the time depending on the fight.
Like I said, we are in between tiers. Once I get my campaign weapons, my crit will sky rocket, so I will be critting more but still have A LOT of power as well as gaining the additional 300-500 more damage to unload. I have posted my facts- its up to anyone hear to agree or not. I, however, will not miss out on 300-500 more damage per Unload. Am I optimized gear wise right now? No. I am preparing for the gear I will get. We clear 4/4 HM in 16. I am only limited by time for getting gear. Give it a few weeks and I will have my optimal gear setup. Missing out on that 4% accuracy is going to hurt you more in the long run. Just like I pointed out: He is missing out on 112 DPS because of the 4% accuracy. Granted, with his current gearing, he would have to sacrifice stats for Accuracy which all in all wouldn't be a wise choice. His DPS is fine as it is. However, if he keeps going this route and avoiding that 4% accuracy, he will be seeing nearing 200 DPS loss on the parses because of the misses. That is not a lie. Its already showing. Also, he gains a 28 DPS increase with the 'proc on hit' relic. Yes, it looks nice but no fight in this game exists where we just stand still and DPS. He has 42 hits with it on a target dummy. I want to see a parse on an actual fight I gaurantee you won't see any more than 18-20 hits in an actual fight because you will not get a hit whenever its GCD is finished.So, without that relic, he is actually doing less DPS than me. All of his abilities have an average DPS of less than mine. Yes that matters. When looking at parses, the average DPS of every ability added up equals your overall DPS. On all of his abilities, they are less than mine. That means on any given fight in existence (except for Target Dummy), he will end up below Zero and I. Numbers do not lie. Go look at the average DPS of his abilities. They are less than mine. Obviously power/acc is trumping more crit/surge in these scenarios. |
