Do you know of the value of power you get per Aim point? Also do you know the highest Aim Augment, and highest Power Augment? I would look it all up, but i'm off very soon. If power comes out ahead, though, surely that would be better.
The stats I can find on the GTN on my Server, are Purple 22's, and those have these stats:

Accuracy 22:
+12 End
+18 Acc

Alacrity 22:
+12 End
+18 Alac

Crit 22:
+12 End
+18 Crit

Overkill 22:
+12 End
+18 Power

Reflex 22:
+12 End
+18 Aim

So they are equal in terms of stats betwen Aim and Power.. Smile

Then the next question is how much power does each point of aim give. In full rakata, you should be at hit cap, crit cap, surge cap and only looking to increase your power I believe.

Pyro is ranged as well FYI. Pyro would have more uptime on bosses due to the mobility and DoTs. The new bosses in EC require more movement than EV/KP so I would imagine Pyro will have the upper hand.
If they are close in DPS, IMO Pyro would be the way to go.

There really isnt that much movement in EC at all. Also pyro doesnt bring an armor debuff which can be a problem pending raid makeup and the fact that some of the fights do have you splitting dps. Also i was thinking of pyrotech pyro for some reason.

Is anything being done to adress the Heatseeker Missle problem? This is a very serious issue for arsenal. Heatseeker was supposed to get a 10% buff and it is hitting for less than it did prior to 1.2.
With the new raids out and every bit of dps counting this reallt needs to be fixed.
Are the developers aware that they broke our ability?

Not that I've heard, which is why I implimented my own fix...I moved to pyro. Confused

Not that I've heard, which is why I implimented my own fix...I moved to pyro. Confused
I don't see pyro as a solution we lost burst but im still able to pull 1350ish dps as arsenal which is easier to maintain heat on and still has solid damage.

They did buff HSM by 10%, but the problem with debuff stacking from multiple mercs existed pre 1.2 too. They were supposed to fix this bug coming into 1.2 hence the 10% buff to help compensate.

It really did need to be fixed though, the simple fact that with just 3 mercenaries in the raid I could break 6 digits with a HSM crit is dumb and not balanced.

Curiousness, Since I couldn't find it in the pages i checked. When he says 108% accuracy on the front page is that for ranged or Tech? For I currently have 101% Ranged and 111% Tech. Do you get any additional bonuses from going over the 108%. Cause otherwise getting ranged to 108% would put tech around the 117%-120% (no idea on marginal returns) which seems kinda of wasteful if 9-12% of accuracy that is useless. I do realize that without hitting all other stats become null, but does getting ranged up to 108% worth it? considering that we the Tracer(tech) is the majority of our spells, with unload (ranged), heatseeker (tech), and railshot(ranged) on being on 15 sec CD.
