I haven't seen any of competent BH...just pre 1.2 endless TM spam.

In PvP, just as in PvE, your job is to deal damage. So, killing ball carriers or hold the center in Huttball is what you do, and provide close fire support to achieve the objective in every other mode.

As far as rotation, the main difference from PvE is that since live players are more mobile, LOSing, kiting, and running out of range, you will have to break from your rotation from time to time, launching HSM sooner than optimal to squeeze out the most DPS just before completely losing track on a target, unleashing unload before is optimal to slow the target down with pinning fire...that sort of thing. TM stacks are a bit more of a luxury in PvP. Often times you have to stay mobile so you'll have stick to launching just whatever happens to both be off DC and launchable while on the move: HSM, RS, homing dart, rapid shots, and fusion missile while buffed by an insta cast. Because PvP often drives large groups of folks into small killzones, you'll also often prioritize DFA, fusion missile, and homing dart...possibly even sweeping blasters over casting TM anyway.

In PvP I cast TM when opponents are neither grouped up nor about to LOS, or when they are grouped up but my AOEs are on CD.

Linking up with a healer is very helpful. In pub games you may get away with not having a personal heals, but occasionally you'll get a melee opponent who decides it's his personal mission throughout the match to find you, and bury you with a ton of interrupts before killin ya. A healer can help you be victorious against these folks, and help you turn a 250-300k point match into a 400-450k match without any trouble, especially on maps that are wide open and allow you to just lay on the destruction.

Overall I'm in all champion gear (actually just got a BM chest) and I'm consistently in the top 3 for my team both in damage dealt and awards earned.
