There are quests where you have to win warzones, there are quests where you have to kill 70 droids, and there are quests where you have to complete space missions. Bioware is giving people options as to how they want to level.

If you want to complete every single quest, by all means go for it. But the point of this thread is to find the fastest way to level 50, like Kore said; and completing every single quest just isn't it.

RE: Leveling guide
Yeah actually on further reflection, they're absolutely right, I should have supplemented my suggestion with to "every quest within reason." My limited time with the beta I tried to do every quest possible, and I see now I could have increased the leveling quite a bit if I skipped the group content (which I mostly attempted solo with a companion.) Some of the group/heroic quests are decent for XP but only if you have a competent group. Wasting too much time on some of those will defiantly cut into your /played to cap.

around 7 days a week raiding etc..

Will this even be possible that soon after launch?
You may not have enough raiding content for 7 days a week.
Isn't burnout a concern anymore? Raid lockout?

By all means, if you can get around 20 other people to raid 7 days a week, that's your choice, go for it...I'm just curious how long you will be able to keep raiding at that pace...

Yes, last time I checked Bioware had talked about a week-long raid lockout. However, I believe they stated this only comes into effect if you complete the raid, so there would no problem in trying a really hard raid in which you consistently wiped 7 days a week.

RE: Leveling guide
Quests are always a good way to go, plus its better than mindlessly killing, that storyline is rather a big part of SWTOR. There are plenty of guides out there though that can help you do this. Just do some looking Wink
