After reading a number of posts on a number of sites and balancing theories in regards to gameplay, I'm finding Ravage to be pretty damn useful in many situations. While it does become more of a filler ability, the cast time falls perfectly in conjunction with the CD of Sundering Assault (SA).

My rotation is as follows (not including Saber Throw/Force Charge/Enrage):

SA > Shatter > Impale > SA > Force Scream > Smash > SA > Ravage (or Force Choke for Rage regen if Rampage didn't proc > SA > repeat

Both Ravage and Force Choke, with their 3 second channels, fit in between SA's 5 second CD (with no downtime (1.5 GCD + 3 sec channel) thus allowing us to pool/generate Rage while maximizing output.

Savage/Master strike, besides being just plain fun/awsome, is useful. After Reading all the posts in this thread dating back to the beta there is alot of theorycrafting supporting removeal of Ravage/MS from your rotation to attain Max DPS. In Patch 1.2 Bioware is buffing Svg/MS by 15% and unstoppable! There is really no reason to feel you are losing dps anymore.

The way you are doing it is odd, seeing as that third rotation where you are putting in ravage Shatter and Impale should both be back up. There is never a good reason to delay them. Instead, fit Ravage in where Smash is in the next rotation.

RE: Vengeance DPS Compendium
Since this compendium has not been updated for 1.2, I'm closing it. Please use this thread for patch 1.2 discussion until a new compendium is written or this one is updated for the new patch.
