good to hear, that it has some use^^ i broke down the dev walkthrough because i haven´t seen anywhere higher ranks of the abilities. just rank 1 is boring =P and i think the higher ranks are more interesting =D there some healing abilities to see as well, but i play a DPS Inqui thats why i just wrote down dps abilities =P

No. It will be your most useful ability for a long time. But yes, you won't need to worry about it during combat. Seethe is drinking/eating for TOR. Not useless by a long shot, but also not worth theorycrafting time.
Even Angels must kill from time to time...

Eh...I'm not sure if you can leave combat in Warzones, but if it's possible to do so I still feel like the penalty for dying is so minimal in Warzones that I feel like you're wasting more time trying to exit the "battleground" to Seethe and re-enter than you would be staying in the fight until you died, then quickly rezzing and got back into the fight. Hurts your K/D, sure, but every Warzone is an objective gametype, so...usually you should win your objective first. Though I suppose for world PvP it'd be a bit more useful since getting ganked would require a lot more time to return from say, your med center rather than 20m away from the fight. You are guessing correct. Some of the missing abilities are Tumult, Force Cloak and Assassinate. If anyone has solid info on changes/additions, please post them here.
