I went through each of the heroic flashpoints on the PTS with a pug. Some fights were harder than on live, but none even approached a level that made them impossible, and the people I pugged with weren't the best geared.

The brutal truth though - it'll be much, much easier to tell the difference between a good and bad sorc healer. I find that nothing has really changed with my output, except DI no longer has the possibility of being a 1.2 second cast. Other than that, I play the same, my output is the same, and the consumption hit just doesn't really effect me. If someone is running into an issue, especially in a FP, where they are so low on HP they can't tap, or they run out of force - they're either using the wrong spells or their group just isn't able to play.

I've got a video up of one of our minesweeper kills. Our Merc healer DC'd and I healed 6/7 (was during the transition) of us for about 2.5 minutes until he came back. The tank was dropping down to about 20% each hit, and there was significant AoE damage. If I can do that, and remain somewhat force neutral, I don't see any mechanic or encounter in a FP that would pose an issue with only 4 people there.

I agree with you about PvP, and hopefully something will change. Personally - and obviously this is just my opinion here - I really enjoy the self damage mechanics, as long as we have something to make up for it. I'd take some kind of instant heal that damaged me for as much as it healed my target, or some effect like that. What we really need is a little bit of emergency heals, and then significantly more survivability in PvP. I enjoy the challenge that consumption adds to the game, and I think the Sorc healer is probably the most complex spec in the game right now. I think that's great - though I can certainly see how people aren't a giant fan of it.

Hey for the guys who have played with the changes, what do you usually use your conveyance procs on? Is deliverance or healing trance showing up as the more efficient procced heal?
