Woah, I love this forum.
I checked out the pictures of the trees, and I kinda wanna dump all of my non corruption points into madness. I think you guys are overlooking the possibilities with parasitism, think about it, your damage done returns hp AND force points. If you get a good weapon and use your attacks wisely, you can replenish some force points between chain healing, or during the time your HOTS are working. Anyway, whoever set this forum up, good job. |

I believe parasitism will not be as beneficial as going the lightning tree after getting corruption tree setup. It will be silly to sacrifice reserves, electric induction, AND lightning barrier with sorcerer defense for parasitism, which isn't even close to being as useful as the others I just mentioned.
Parasitism only works on periodic damage abilities to restore 1% force with 2 talents, if you are planning on healing a lot sacrifice reserves will be more useful than that alone. |

If you are not taking Dark Resilience, you can't take Fadeout, and I think you end up not having enough in the tree to advance to the next level. Okay, so final edit to my list
So PvP would be: Corruption - Seeping Darkness 3/3; Dark Mending 2/2; Will of the sith 2/2 Charged shield 3/3; Lucidity 3/3 dark Resilience 0/2; Resurgence 1/1; force bending 2/2; efficacious currents 2/2 Sith Purity 1/1; Fadeout 0/2; reconstruct 2/2 Conspiring Force 2/2; Life surge 2/2; innervate 1/1 Penetrating darkness 3/3; force surge 2/2 Revivification 1/1 total: 32 Lightning - reserves 2/2 ; electric induction 3/3 Lightning Barrier 2/2; Sorcerous Defense 1/1; Exsanguinate 1/2 total: 9 Now depending on how long affliction lasts to begin with, I would take 1 point from will of the sith (if it is too short) and put it into exsanguinate. I guess this is a dumb question, but how do you guys know you will have 41 points to spend and how many points you need to unlock the next tier of powers?
Well, here is my build then, probably the same as many others: 3/3 Seeping Darkness 2/2 Will of the Sith 2/2 Empty Body 3/3 Charged Shield 1/1 Resurgence 2/2 Force bending 2/2 Efficacious Currents 2/2 Dark Resilience 2/2 Fadeout 2/2 Reconstruct 1/1 Sith Purity 1/1 Innervate 2/2 Conspiring Force 2/2 Life Surge 3/3 Penetrating Darkness 2/2 Force Surge 1/1 Revivication 33 points Corruption 3/3 Electric Induction 2/2 Reserves 2/2 Lightning Barrier 1/1 Sorcerous Defense 8 points Lightning My reasoning is, if I am out of force and the battle is still going, I can get consumption to work without too many side effects, and I can also use it to get rid of movement imparing effects. I can also slow people attacking me with affliction now that it slows them 20%. If I am being attacked, I can use the upgraded shield and when it pops it blinds my attackers. This is primarily a PvP build but I think it would work decently for PvE as well. |

It's basically been confirmed by people from beta and those who have played it at Comic-Con and the like. Skill points comes 1 per level, starting at level 10, and each tier needs 5 points to advance to the next. You do a Google Image search for 'swtor skill trees' and you'll find a few examples. |
