Help us create a broader theorycrafting community!
You may have noticed (or not) that the MM staff has been relatively quiet lately. Well we've been playing games, lots of games!
Diablo 3 Aside from swinging lightsabers and flame throwers we hit Diablo 3 hard. Unfortunately (and I can only speak for myself) I was gaming to much to pull myself away and post on what I had learned or done a whole lot of out of game research. However Rolfson did an AWESOME job posting his Comprehensive Wizard Guide which received quite a bit of fanfare across the community. He will be releasing an equivalent Monk guide soon. If anyone is interested in contributing some class guides please contact Rolfson. EVE Online I was hounded in our IRC Channel for months about how great the sandbox EVE game is. I had tried it probably 5 years ago and had the same experience many players had: logged in,tried for about an hour to make heads or tails of it, logged out, uninstalled. I finally agreed to check it out and I've been getting my daily fix of crack ever since. It's a fun game and if you are an experienced player (we could use your wisdom) or if you are interested in checking it out you can join our MM corp as we go through the learning process. Thankfully Kaedis already knows a great deal about EVE. The guy seems to have played every game at a competitive level. So he is heading up our EVE forums with weekly "How to" live streams on our Twitch.tv channel. He also, as expected, knows the math behind the game and can answer a lot of questions. League of Legends The LoL community continues to grow and we have a lot of LoL players on staff. One of which is Ein-fimm who is heading up our LoL forums with a great deal of content released and in the works. He too streams on our Twitch.tv channel and has plans for several "how to" video guides in the works. The guy knows his stuff so feel free to pick his brain or challenge him to a match! (he may hate me for that) Additional games We plan to cover the most popular games in the future but we don't want to expand to quickly. If you would like to see coverage into other major games please post on the forums with a request. If you consider yourself an expert in a game we cover or don't cover and would be willing to be a part of the staff please contact me via PM. Thank you for being a part of this community, it is a community driven site. |
