OUR HISTORY
Knights in Black Satin started in October 2010 with creation of a Facebook group gathering friends and co-gamers in a general discussion on Star Wars: The Old Republic. Within the first few weeks the group turned from a fan group to a temporary guild site. Former members of two World of Warcraft guilds, "Lok tar Ogar – Lightning’s Blade” and "Exostra – Defias Brotherhood”, friends and SW fans transformed the group into a growing community. The community formed a guild under the name of Knights in Black Satin and chose Lord Calypho RP-PVP European server as its home. In May 2012 the guild was reinforced by a merger with one of another oldest Lord Calypho guilds - Nova. The guild is led by Davelis and co-guildmasters - Methos and Vox supported by officers - Oathran, Rango, Royalty, Shillian and Velvete.

OUR VISION
We are commited to making our vision of fun, mature, community-based gaming alive - the community and friendships made in the game and beyond are fundation of our guild and the guild's purpose is to let its members enjoy the game and conquer it in all fields. The guild offers its members opportunities in PvE, PvP and social gaming. We run a 2 day 16-man raiding team, numerous 8-man alt runs, and a PvP team getting ready for Rated Warzones in premades and in general, we have fun together in Star Wars: the Old Republic.

Even if recruitment for your class is not open and you are a brilliant player willing to challenge our roster you are still welcome to apply as we will accept any outstanding and exceptional applicants.

PVE
Joining us you should expect 16man progression raiding on 2 nights, 7 hours per week - no more, no less. We are committed to casual schedule. That also means that we treat what we do seriously - limited time requires excellent level of dedication.

We want to see you push yourself as much as we push ourselves. We want to see you show up with consumables, the best possible augments, and come to ops with a positive attitude. You need to show us excellent knowledge of your class, have a sufficient level of gear for our current progression content and both performance and as close to 100% attendance as possible will be required from you.

PVP
PvPers of all classes are welcome to apply to our premade team. The absolute minimum requirement is full Recruit gear and the closer to Battlemaster/War Hero the better. To PvP with us you need to be a teamplayer, have a good understanding of your class in PvP environment and you need to be able to communicate with us through Mumble.
