As a guild we have origins stretching back 9 years in mmos and have seen the faces of such games as EverQuest 2 and Guild Wars, plus many more. Now choosing to more forward with a nearly prolific name for Star Wars we are primarily a focused progression raiding guild with a side emphasis into warzones and offering an enjoyable member atmosphere. With SWTOR being such a young mmo The Royal Guard feels there's a need to form a family within our guild and for that guild to then help build the community within the server if it's to keep a stable player base.

The Royal Guard is selectively searching to add to our ranks. We seek skilled players of balanced personalities and even temperaments with past mmo experience, usually preferring an older age group than teens. Most our current players have jobs and / or families and understand what is patience, respect, and duty. Add in a strong helping of humor and you have an idea of the typical TRG member. We wish to keep this theme with all new applicants as it is important to us that new recruits merge well with our current members. Even if you do not have the schedule or desire for aggressive progression raiding and warzone teams, we encourage all players who match our personality type and merely wish for an active guild to come reside within us. Our screening process may be extensive, but we feel well worth it to ensure an environment that can foster new friendships.
