The links are working for me, but just in case here are a couple more. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#201ZfcMMd0MZcMfRsMkR.1 http://torguild.net/calculator/sith-inquisitor/sorcerer/?p=000000000000000000032302020120020000003020322131201121000 http://db.darthhater.com/skill_calc/sith_inquisitor/sorcerer/#::ef2e2f3ef2e3fef22e3f3ef2defe7 The Lightning Effusion build is a bit less DPS then 13/28 however you very literally have unlimited force...as long as you cast Force Lighting. You can VERY easily stop DPSing and help heal if you need to then go back to DPS with no issues. I personally love running a Lightning Effusion build. Truthfully though, if you run PvP a good bit you are better off running a higher damage or higher utility variant since Force will tend to be a non issue in PvP. I don't have to heal often but my guild has been working at gearing up some of our lesser geared people and I have found having the ability to toss out a few heals and not having to worry about mana is ideal. What I meant by "the talent specs are not working" is that if you go to simulationcraft you can see that the use torhead for their specs and instead of using letters it is all numbers (means instead of /asubhawerou2 it is /000010004020050506) resulting in a redirect to the talents home page. http://www.simulationcraft.org/swtor/111/Sage_Sorcerer_111.html ^ this is the link I was talking about that should show what the actual specs are but is not. I am okay with slightly lower numbers for the very mobile spec with basically unlimited force. That is as long as it is 1200+ dps and not 1000. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - frmorrison - 02-12-2012 09:47 AM You lose 2% of your dps using the Force Unlimited build versus the standard 13/28. I prefer to have Unlimited Force in PvP because I last a while, and I used to run out of force with 13/28. In PvE, it is nice to be able to throw some heals around and not worry about running out of force for a small dps loss. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - monged - 02-12-2012 10:11 AM why would you avoid acc? after getting to 110% i have an increase on my dps is it because this is not a large enough increase or is there another reason behind this also what sort of % am i looking for on crit surge and alacrity RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Wugan - 02-12-2012 12:34 PM (02-12-2012 10:11 AM)monged Wrote: why would you avoid acc? after getting to 110% i have an increase on my dps is it because this is not a large enough increase or is there another reason behind this Unless you have some reason to disagree with the initial post, this is why you don't need Accuracy: "Accuracy increases the chance to hit with all abilities, and after reaching a 100% hit rate, additional Accuracy reduces the target's chance to avoid/resist attacks. Force Attacks have an intrinsic 100% base accuracy, and no targets (PvE or PvP) possess force resist, so this stat is useless for Sorcerers/Sages." The initial post also addresses the balance of your secondary stats. There are no magic percentages that you need to hit, and the best way to determine the best stats for your current gear are going to require using the spreadsheet or simcraft, both of which are great tools. This, btw, is a known issue. For some reason, TORhead decided to use hashed talent links instead of the raw numerical links they use on WoWhead. Not sure what the plan is in regards to these, actually... That's not completly true. Both Wowhead & Torhead always used hashed talent links, that's nothing new. But Wowhead had a parser for for numerical talent strings, which Torhead doesn't have. Torhead currently doesn't intend to implement a numerical string parser just for SimulationCraft, see http://sithwarrior.com/forums/Thread-Simulationcraft-for-Sage-Sorcerer?pid=13742#pid13742 for a reply. So you either have to wait until Torhead has a bigger incentive ( armory with numerical talent strings ), or till we add a torhead encryption to SimulationCraft. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Saylin - 02-13-2012 04:18 AM Just thought I would throw this out there for people who are trying to get rid of bad enhancements The IA helm and BH helm both offer power/surge enhancements....Guess i will be running kaon for awhile. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Kaedis - 02-13-2012 11:21 AM Side note: the BH ones are lower Power and higher Surge, which given the 1.1.3 changes, is unlikely to be optimal. |
