RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Kaedis - 01-11-2012 07:58 AM Quote:I wonder if anyone's run a quick test to see if the 2piece set bonus (-2 force from the cost of our filler) has any particularly noticeable effect on our efficiency? With just DF (no CL), the rotation was just slightly force-negative (endurance around 32 minutes). This will make it force positive, but again, only slightly. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Kyress - 01-11-2012 10:51 PM First of all THANKS for this excellent work here! I want to bring up the question from Carmuh again because I had exactly the same. I hope someone can give us an answer, (as good as it is possible at this point): (For me only endgame operations are interesting) "Sry if this was mention before or this is in the wrong thread but what is the highest dps spec right now for the sorceress madness or lightning?(If madness which spec)" thanks RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - frmorrison - 01-11-2012 11:43 PM (01-11-2012 10:51 PM)Kyress Wrote: "Sry if this was mention before or this is in the wrong thread but what is the highest dps spec right now for the sorceress madness or lightning?(If madness which spec)" According to the spreadsheet (in another thread), dps is within 4% of Hybrid and Lightning (with Hybrid ahead). That is the only tool I have. Also, Hybrid's rotation is easier than Lightning. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - TheDarkness - 01-12-2012 03:30 AM Does data from this new sim change the current understand of stat weighting? It clearly gives Surge Rating a higher priority, assuming that the formula from http://sithwarrior.com/forums/Thread-SWTOR-formula-list is correct, and that base crit bonus, surge bonus and talent bonus are all additive. The rest seems to be the as suggested in the guide, also confirming that Willpower is slightly better than Power. Keep in mind that Scale Factors always depend on the base on which they are derived, so don't read too much out of them. But it still needs a lot of peer review and once the talent system is user configurable more people who test it with different settings. Kor wanted to have a look at it and maybe even improve it, so it should be getting better shortly ![]() Edit: Physical School was used for now because of my lazyness ( so a missuse of the WoW physical school, not what it may represent in swtor ). It just enables armor reduction, which is currently a arbitrary value. Are there any numbers somewhere for usual boss armor in lvl50 raids? RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - tyrantangel - 01-12-2012 04:54 AM To start, the work done here is amazing and well thought out. You guys have done an amazing job thus far, I just have a few questions about your deductions. How relevant is the fact of internal/elemental damage and how has it been calculated into everything so far? For now are you calculating it at the same with physical (50%) for operation bosses? RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Kaedis - 01-12-2012 05:07 AM Quote:Kor wanted to have a look at it and maybe even improve it, so it should be getting better shortly Wink Yup, it's on my to-do list. Internal and elemental damage bypasses armor, which we've taken into account. You could call it kinetic/energy damage which is the swtor term. Boss armor is 50% damage reduction from kinetic/energy attacks in Operations (raids), note all Champion level mobs have this level of armor. e: Does your sim include the various buffs? Especially the armor reducing one (that reduces armor by 20%) Refer to the opcomp on this site for all of them. RE: Madness/Balance Sorcerer DPS Compendium - Spren - 01-12-2012 06:42 AM How much "resistance" do various NPC types have? I currently have 0 accuracy but I'm wondering if I got some from somewhere, and it lowered the targets resistance, if that would translate into much damage. Bosses in Ops and Flashpoints have 0 resistance. Players have 0 resistance, nor have any talents that give resistances. Some other NPCs may have some, but I haven't seen it. If you have accuracy on your gear, it is giving you a zero damage increase. Bosses could change or new Bosses could have resistance in the future. |
