I have a question and something to point out, both to do with the gear list.
First off, why is the shield generator listed not one that has a shield chance etc. in the stats, or is that just a fault with torhead.com? When I equip a shield with Shield Chance and Shield Chance those stats on my Character sheet jump from zero to 33.86% and 30.68% respectively. I am guessing that it's torhead at the moment but would appreciate clarification.
Secondly the Rakata Relic of Imperiling Serenity if double up will trigger the same long cooldown on the other Relic. If you use a Columi Relic of Imperiling Serenity, you get a 25s cooldown on the other Relic so they can be used back to back if needed. Found that out the hard way after crafting 2 of them

As I am gearing up through hardmodes, I am picking up a lot of Shield Rating. I am using Enhancements for Accuracy with Endurance and Defense (to keep 100% Accuracy). As a result, I have hardly any Absorption Rating. Since I am still below the 30% Defense cap, should I just ignore Absorption Rating? Or is it worth it sacrificing a little Defense to gain some Absorption Rating to take advantage of my Shield Rating?

That's a tricky question, Chasim. It depends on your exact stats (def shd abs). Could you post them?
Note that the "30% defense cap" is something you'll never really get close too even if you wanted to. You're getting Defense from talents and your stance, which is why it looks like you're closer than you are.

Does anybody know if the Rakata Relic of the Shrouded Crusader shares the same cooldown as Rakata Relic of Imperiling Serenity. (Difference being one is shield/absorb, the other is defense). Or should I just go with a DPS one for the higher base endurance?

They shouldnt share a CD, but apon using the first trinket, the 2nd is put on a 25-30 sec CD, meaning you can use both at once (or even within quick succession of each other)

Same static stats as the other rakata tanking trinkets, no issue with shared cooldowns with using two rakata relics - Considering using this & the rakata relic of imperiling serenity over serenity+cube or serenity+rakata shrouded crusader

Thanks. Keeping in mind that I am just gearing up... with 99.81% Accurancy, my stats are:
23.19% Defense Chance (423 Defense Rating)
31.89% Shield Chance (136 Shield Rating)
22.41% Shield Absorption (22 Absorption Rating)
From the OP, I understand you generally want a 2 to 1 ratio (which I assume applies to Shield and Absorption Rating, not Shield Chance and Shield Absorption).

For the last two weeks, the buttons will be grey as though they were on CD; however, you can actually activate both and get the buff simultaneously.

Has anyone found multiple gear sets valuable? I'm curious if anyone favours one defensive stat over another depending on the encounter?
