I am attaching a link to our 16 man storymode run from last week. It seems like our Sin tank is taking waaaay more damage than the other tank. Please take a look and see if there is a reason you can spot, thanks!

This looks like a simple case of doing the fight incorrectly. During all or most of your attempts against your SA is eatting double destruction, which will vastly increase the amount of dmg he takes from Stormcaller. I'd suggest reviewing the strategy.
Stormcaller deals "magic" damage that cannot be mitigated by defensive stats while firebrand deals "physical" damage that can be mitigated. From my parse I recall taking 50-100% more damage than the firebrand tank. Certain strategies ensure the stormcaller tank never takes double destruction, other improvement is the shield kiting phase & increased force shroud use.
I believe tanks now have to tank trade even in Story mode now?

You can survive..but tank switch is so easy with no downside so..yeah.
Two main points here:

The assassin will always take more damage if he's the one staying down on the shield phase of the two bot-tanks. And I can't imagine a better class for this role.

But more importantly - when looking at the assassin's damage taken, consider his healing done as well. When I subtract my healing done from my damage taken, I end up either at par or even better off than a juggernaut!

Self healing is a must with assassin, so tell him to use Force lightning with 3 stacks of harnessed darkness as much as possible.
Tank swapping also has the distinct advantage of the tanks being able to taunt while out of meleerange of the boss they're swapping towards = gaining 130% of the previous tanks threat!
This makes it a lot harder for the dps to pull aggro after the first tank swap and as this fight is one of the hardest threat-wise, it's a great boost

You can indeed tank without swapping in Story mode, I have been a Shadow Tank all of 2 weeks and managed it no problem. I was on the Left one and just alternated cooldowns after Incinerate Armour.
I agree with Billy341 regarding Story Mode. I was a healer for the Incinerate Armor tank, and he hardly took any serious damage. A few bursts here and there, but nothing that was difficult to heal. Sin and Shadow tanks are over powered in my opinion.

We are perfectly in line with other tanks. You can read the three postings from here concerning it:

As noted from fmorrison and my combat log of KP NiM I take more damage than the PT over the duration of fights, but our self healing helps balance out that difference making the comparison between a PT and SiN pretty even.
